Paris Williams continues to prove himself as one of Kansas City's most talented and unyielding rapper-producers. Though he's been frequenting metro stages for the last year, he had only released one single ("Chunky" -- a very lively tune) since his 2020 EP Cocoa. "Hopscotch" is simultaneously mean, upbeat (think early Lil Yachty minus the autotune, add Pharrell-inspired production), and one of the most fun-to-listen local tracks so far this year. Play it in the car, run it back, and allow it to inspire you to chase whatever you want most in life.
