Shuttlecock Podcast: Ogechi

Ogechi is one of Kansas City's youngest, most well-rounded renaissance women. She has released three projects as a hip-hop artist, competed and earned acclaim in the poetry world, can dance like nobody's business, and is currently exploring the worlds of filmmaking and entrepreneurship. With another semester at Georgia State University finished, Ogechi is back home recording another project and preparing for a free show next month at Uptown Arts Bar. We discuss all of these things, as well as her chapbook, "Lost Negro Records," America's problem with idol worship, and more on this podcast episode.

The Shuttlecock Podcast is sponsored by The Vinyl Underground at 7th Heaven, located at 76th & Troost in Kansas City. Visit www.7thHeavenKC.com for more info.
