In less than two weeks, plan to see
Dendrons when the band visits Kansas City, Missouri. The Chicago-based "rock-n-roll experiment" has been wrapping up its debut LP for release next year and will be testing out some of that material during a weekend on the road with Sioux Falls'
Lot Lizard Both bands have roots in the realm of post-punk, but offer unique takes on the sound, venturing into the psychedelic and avant-garde. Joining them at this concert are cherished singer-songwriter
Chloe Jacobson (backed by
Shaun Crowley and
Daniel Gum) and
False Brother (which has been finishing up an LP of its own).
The show is Saturday, December 7th at the Vinyl Underground at 7th Heaven (7621 Troost Ave, Kansas City, Missouri). It's all ages and there's a suggested donation of $7, but no one will be turned away due to a lack of funds. Music starts at 6pm sharp and will end by 8pm.
