Watch: Empath - "Carpet" at The Toilet Bowl

Philadelphia rockers Empath brought a wondrous array of noises to Lawrence, Kansas back in September. There's the quick sticking of drummer Garrett Koloski, the frenzied jangle of Catherine Elicson's guitar, and in the background, a cassette tape of pre-recorded nature sounds. "Carpet," from the band's tape Liberating Guilt And Fear, drew some new feet to the dusty basement dancefloor.
