Shuttlecock Presents: Pink Thing / Unforgiven Five / Obscenity Plugs / Pillow

Flyer by Katie Crossette and Natalie Roth
The music of Pink Thing is almost strictly for the cynical and anxious. The Dallas band's mid-paced post-punk shuffles and downbeat punk rock foot-tappers will fill the basement on their first trip to Kansas City this spring. Bad attitudes welcome.

Joining Pink Thing will be one of the town's favorite Rock-N-Roll™ bands Unforgiven Five, the first show of Bennett Weaver's lo-fi pop project Obscenity Plugs, and also the first show of a sleepy new post-punk/shoegaze group called Pillow. The show is happening Wednesday, May 16 at the Kum-N-Go house (DM @ShuttlecockMag on social media or email AaronRKC@gmail.com for the address). It's all ages, doors open at 8pm, and there is a $5 suggested donation for Pink Thing (pay what you can, nobody turned away).

Here's a Facebook event page for the show.
