Samurai - "Dohdoh!"

Sometimes, a feeling can only truly be captured through onomatopoeia. "Dohdoh!" is the first song off Kansas City rapper Samurai's new EP, Fire W/ Fire, produced by Treesap. Samurai has often indulged his itch to experiment throughout his time as an artist and is never one to bow to traditional hip-hop conventions. While those experiments haven't always panned out, "Dohdoh!" is more successful than not. Its delirious flows, gleaming synths, and bouncing drum beats should make a fan of anyone interested by Playboi Carti, Duwap Kaine, and other cloud-trap eccentrics.
