In celebration of their new 12" split out on High Dive Records, Kansas City's Bummer and San Antonio's Pinko squared off in an early evening "battle set" at Mills Record Company. The two bands' vocalists squared off in a quick rock-paper-scissors match to decide which played first, then proceeded to cheer each other on as they transcended the tiny stage and blasted noise rock tunes back and forth.

The show was opened by Vohnkar -- a new instrumental metal group featuring members of Bald Eagle, Dodecad, and other Missouri rock bands. The band's ultra-polished sound and epic songwriting style made for a unique set.
