Shuttlecock Podcast: Max Chaney

In the five years since he started his first band, Max Chaney has accomplished a lot, but as he mentioned on this episode, he'd rather keep his focus on what's to come. Max sings in Devil's Den, and plays guitar in Contrast, and recently joined Spine. Devil's Den and Spine have a busy 2019 mapped out, but Max and I got to discuss getting into punk music during his childhood in Excelsior Springs, writing some dark-ass songs, and the ins and outs of Devil's Den's aesthetics.

Devil's Den's new EP, "First Nature Brutalism," is out now, as well as Spine's LP, "Faith." Look out for local shows and tour dates from both bands.
