Tongues - "Tongues" EP Stream

In recent years, at least from my observation, there has been a worldwide resurgence in top notch, moody-ass post-punk music that has stretched from United States to Denmark to Brazil. Kansas City hasn't represented the genre too heavily, but this year a new contender emerges. Tongues is a kickin' new duo that combines the crushing power of early Swans with the death rock grooves of groups like 45 Grave. It doesn't matter if the Royals are heading to the playoffs, if Tongues have their way, Kansas City will be covered in gloom for the rest of forever.
