Shuttlecock Presents: The Big Gig featuring Tommy Wright III

Shuttlecock has been bringing Kansas City music fans coverage of their favorite local punk bands, rappers, and more for the last three years. After a long line of DIY gigs booked (with more to come), we figured it was time to bring you something big. This month, Shuttlecock presents The Big Gig featuring Tommy Wright III.

Tommy Wright III is a Memphis underground hip-hop legend. Best known for his '90s mixtapes, "Runnin-N-Gunnin" and "Ashes 2 Ashes, Dust 2 Dust," the One Man Gang himself is back in action and delivering electrifying live shows across America. Joining Tommy at the show will be a slew of local and regional acts from a handful of vibrant scenes. Omaha hardcore freaks Bib are making the drive south to join locals Warm Bodies, Tione, Elijah, Btrfly, and DJ Yung Grandpa.

The Big Gig is happening Sunday, October 28 at recordBar (1520 Grand Blvd, Kansas City, MO). Doors open at 7 P.M. and the show gets rolling at 8 P.M. The event is 18+, but minors are allowed if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Early bird tickets are on sale now and cost only $20. After those are gone, remaining tickets are $25.
