Any Swifties in our reading audience had already set this weekend aside long ago, but for the rest of you looking for a gig, there are some options. Texas hardcore is taking over Kansas City this week with Amygdala playing Farewell on Tuesday, Heat and Kill Order at Howdy on Wednesday, and Urn at Howdy on Thursday (the latter two being Shuttlecock gigs). On Saturday, you can catch Perfume USA releasing their new EP, Kiss It Goodbye, at Blip Roasters with Weaponize Chomsky and Dunes Day. Alternatively, New York singer-songwriter Miles Hewitt plays Howdy and Arkansas hardcore band Claw Marks American at Farewell that night (mem. ex-Norma Jean).

 

Other acts worth catching this week include Sparks, Houston, New Obsessions, Moon 17.
