Anita Velveeta

The highly clever Minneapolis "pastichecore" act Anita Velveeta returns to Kansas City this Tuesday for the second date of their tour with Detroit's Star Student. Much buzzed-about locals Heccra (a recent transplant, playing their second local show as I understand) and God's Computer will be opening this Howdy gig. Emo fans of all stripes should find something to love about this one.

Other acts worth catching this week include Open Kasket / Virtue, Bleached Cross, Stormruler, The Smoking Popes, Alamo Black, and Konrad Hell & The Highwater.
