This week in Kansas City and Lawrence: plenty of heat. This Thursday, Los Angeles art rockers Sloppy Jane (Saddest Factory Records; former band of Phoebe Bridgers) plays an intimate gig at Howdy. Half of the show's tickets are available in advance online (link below) and the rest of the spots are reserved for walk-up/pay-at-the-door/PWYC attendees when doors open that evening. Friday night, don't miss the heavy-as-fuck straight edge hardcore band No Cure from Alabama at recordBar with friends Surfaced, Prevention, Sign Language, and God Talk.
