Shuttlecock Presents: Sidestep in Kansas City

Sidestep. Photo by @lanictal.
When Louisville, Kentucky's Neriah Romero isn't busy fronting the hardcore band Prime, he's writing dream pop under the name Sidestep. The music of Sidestep is decidedly pretty and simultaneously melancholy; choice for bedroom sulking, moody late night drives, and other lonely endeavors. He was all set to play Kansas City before the pandemic hit, so we're happy to finally have him. Joining Sidestep will be Lawrence's Flooding and Kansas City's Perfume.

This gig takes place on October 1, 2021 at 7th Heaven (7621 Troost Ave., Kansas City, Missouri). Doors open at 6pm, music starts at 6:30pm, over by 8pm, and the suggested donation is $5-10 (pay what you can, no one turned away).

[UPDATE - 9/27/21: This show was originally set to take place at 22/32 but has been moved to 7th Heaven. Please note the earlier show time.]
