Roman Alexander - "Over Me"

I gave Parkville-raised, Nashville-baised country singer Roman Alexander a hard time when I first wrote about him, but the songs I did enjoy from his debut EP have remained in my pop country rotation ever since. Following another recent single -- "Better In A Car;" I'll hold my tongue now -- Alexander has dropped a track that will be making my playlist. "Over Me" is textbook ex-boyfriend country, but sometimes a textbook can be plenty fulfilling. The arrangement and instrumentation of the song meet (or possibly surpass) that of his EP, leading me to believe yet-to-be-named project to come will be a worthwhile listen.
