Watch: Genre - "Living Death Experience" at Kessler Park

Genre is one of the latest bands to emerge from Kansas City's DIY scene. Including members of Mentira (guitarist/vocalist Diyana Xross) and formerly LK Ultra (drummer Aoife Conway), the band has played a handful of outdoor gigs so far, yet to release a demo. In this clip you can get a taste of their jittery and melodic rock music that bounces between new wave, garage, and punk. But who cares about genre anyway?
