Live This Week: August 25 - August 31, 2024

Spaced

If there's not a gig of ours you catch this week, you straight up probably don't like punk or hardcore music. And that's okay. It just means you'll never really understand me all the way. Anyway, tonight (Sunday), catch Lockstep (Nashville loud shoegaze) at Howdy. On Tuesday, catch Buffalo hardcore band Spaced (Revelation Records) and Minnesota's Identity Crisis at Howdy. Friday is a gig I helped book featuring modern masters of oi! punk Rixe, performing at Farewell for what should be one of the best local rock gigs of the year. Finally on Saturday, we bounce back to Howdy for a gig with Burned Up Bled Dry (the reformed '90s Arkansas Slap-A-Ham powerviolence band) with Central Nervous System from Columbia, Missouri. Stay hydrated.

Other acts worth catching this week include Natalie Prauser, CupcakKe, Dogstar, Ione, and Blondshell.
