  1. You'll plug Jefferson Starship but not Center of the City?! 48 punk bands, 3 days, $15.

    1. But none of those punk bands are good, brother! The best acts playing are Sundiver and Ebony Tusks! Hit my line when any of those worn out punkers write a song better than "Miracles!"

    2. I read that some involved have threatened you and it's been tinged with some pretty transphobic language. That bullshit should not stand. While I think your critique here is shallow and unsubstantiated by any real critical analysis I wish those who've taken you to task over it would have addressed those things, rather than resorted to exorting violence. I mean, that's Trump-level crap.

Maybe at some point you define your critique of the bands playing COTC with something more insightful than the broad, biased, tar-brush of "not good." Hopefully it'll happen before they admit that acting like a mosh pit of phobic bogans is anything but "punk."

“In fact, punk rock means exemplary manners to your fellow human being.” -- Joe Strummer

    3. I do think I should've worded it differently, but it's still my comment in a comment section. I would certainly put much more work and analysis into all bands I write about in articles. I appreciate your comment, John.

  2. for all your Stinkbomb needs! Playing Saturday night of CENTER OF THE CITY FEST! Come early and come every day to see the best Punk Rock the Midwest has to offer!
