Kansas City, KS arts space FOKL was host to an interesting show on Saturday night. Brooklyn band Future Punx performed a solid half hour of futuristic synth-utilizing punk to the small crowd left at midnight. Oakland no-wavers The World took more after James Chance than most other bands that KC has seen recently. The bongos and dual saxophones were a nice touch. Local rockers Warm Bodies and The Vitamens opened this gig up.
