Nathan Ma of Bib
On the heels of the release of their 7" record "Pop," Omaha hardcore band Bib returned to Kansas City for the third time. The band's primal grooves, blasts of fuzzed out mosh riffs, and guttural snarls have made them one of the hottest bands in the Midwest and one of its wildest live shows. Bib was joined by Livin' Thing from Springfield, Illinois. Livin' Thing brought with them goofy blue track suits, thrashing punk jams, and a delightful cover of ELO's "Mr. Blue Sky." Kansas City's Warm Bodies closed the show. Blindside USA opened the night with a set featuring Gabe Coppage behind the kit and Alex Tunks on second guitar.
