As you may have heard, The Conquerors released their album "
Wyld Time" on Friday. The Kansas City pop kings poached as much of the First Friday populace as they could for a free release show at Mills Record Company. The set featured cuts from the album, past singles, an Otis Redding cover, and a brand new song. As they did for the
Wet Ones, The Gorlons came to town prep the crowd for a local release show. Their fuzzy, long-haired psych rock jams had plenty of rockers tapping their feet.
