The fourth annual Boulevardia festival took over the West Bottoms on Friday for several hours of food, brews, and music in the summer heat. Friday's music highlights included an appearance from British alternative rock trio The Joy Formidable, father-daughter duo Matt Pryor & Lily Pryor, and a headlining set from funk royalty George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic. Despite the festival the P-Funk short 15 minutes (to 45 minutes total) due to an impending storm, the band's raw power and hair-raising jamming was still quite an experience to behold.
