This next week or two is usually when summer concert season would begin to wind down, but with the backlog of artists waiting to tour on their pandemic-era material still sizable, it looks like we may roll full steam ahead into (and perhaps through) fall. This week in the Kansas City area you can catch rap star Kendrick Lamar and his cousin Baby Keem tonight, our show with hardcore killers Candy at Farewell on Friday, $uicideboy$' annual summer tour with a strong bill of support including modern Texas icon Maxo Kream, and more.
