Shuttlecock Presents: Strange Joy in Kansas City

Punk rock may be known as a subgenre with a focus on politics and observations on modern society, but some bands are able to harness that energy to create music of personal, emotional catharsis that, some would argue, can be equally valuable and worthwhile. Strange Joy is a Texas band that does just that. This is their first visit to Kansas City and it should be a special one. Laaee Uzumak! and Joust will be providing support at this early evening gig.

This show will take place on Friday, September 9, 2022 in the Kessler Park reservoir (Kansas City, Missouri). It's all ages, $10 (PWYC), and music starts at 7 P.M. sharp. Directly afterwards, head to Farewell to catch Bighand//Bigknife, Canyons, Nerver, and Big Water.
