American rock band Candy is no one thing, except perhaps a group of musicians who together are capable of recreating a sonic analogue of pain. Not hardcore, not death metal, not grindcore, not noise, but a bloody, gnarled, brutish concentration of all the above. On the heels of their new album,
Heaven Is Here, released by Relapse Records, Candy is out on tour with Vein.fm this month and will be stopping to play Kansas City on a night off. Locals Perfume and Bobcat will join them.
This show is on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Farewell (6515 Stadium Dr., Kansas City, MO). It's all ages, doors open at 7 P.M., music starts at 8 P.M., and the suggested donation is $12-15 (PWYC).
