The Midland was the host to Middle Of The Map's hip-hop and R&B performers on Friday night. Vince Staples spit bars and bantered with the crowd about college basketball for an hour (he doesn't believe that you know Perry Ellis). R&B crooner Gallant performed, wow-ing the very drunk crowd with his falsetto vocals and slick dance moves. Local hip-hop acts BLK FLANL and Ebony Tusks opened what ended up being a very solid, yet disappointingly under attended evening.
