It's always an exciting moment when a local act gets to join as support on a national tour and that tour hits the metro. Blackstarkids, following their zero-to-100 blowup last year, will be opening for Grouplove at Liberty Hall this Wednesday. Also this week, pick between the sons of The Allman Brothers Band or Willie Nelson's son, emo-rap musicians turned emo musicians again (If I Die First), Delta 5 devotees Sweeping Promises, a taco festival at a baseball stadium headlined by Ludacris, Amira Wang's EP release show, and more.
Also, one week from today (Sunday, September 26), don't miss our second Shuttlecock Swap Meet at Replay Lounge in Lawrence, Kansas. Browse wares from a dozen local music brands from 1 P.M. to 6 P.M. then catch live sets from Jass, Rachel Cion, and Cole3k starting at 6:30 P.M.
