Live This Week: September 26 - October 2, 2021

Arizona death metal band Gatecreeper last visited the metro to open for Full Of Hell at The Riot Room in 2018 (and before that, Pallbearer and Inter Arma at The Riot Room in 2017). The group's first area headlining show takes place tonight at The Bottleneck. If you fuck with old school death metal, you'd be a fool to miss this one.

Also very important: Shuttlecock is hosting two events this week! Our second Shuttlecock Swap Meet takes place this afternoon and features a dozen local music brands as vendors. Afterwards, catch live sets from Jass, Rachel Cion, and Cole3k, then later, a set from DJ Babiface (Charmaine from Midwestern). Then on Friday, Louisville dream pop act Sidestep makes its Kansas City debut at AV Club. We called up Perfume and Flooding to open up.

Other worthwhile acts playing in town this week: Samia, Ohmme, Kevin Gates, Future Islands, 311, and Claire Monroe (Claire designs our print magazines and is an exceptional singer-songwriter/musician). Details on these show and more are below.
