Shuttlecock Presents: Dead Heat / Prevention in Kansas City

What Do You Say No To? That's the name of Prevention's latest EP, but also a valid question worth asking oneself every now and again. The Springfield, Illinois straight edge band returns to Kansas City after making its first trip here in March 2020 (one very strange month). Though our city hasn't had much of a straight edge scene over the past several years, I hope a few sober heads crawl out of the woodwork for this one. It's a fun bill, too. Local hardcore punks Doldrums, experimental hip-hop act Midwestern, and stand-up comedian Dorian DeBose will be opening this gig up.

The show is on Thursday, November 11, 2021, outside at AV Club in Kansas City, Missouri (email or DM us for the address). All ages, 7 P.M. doors, 8 P.M. music, $5-10 suggested donation (pay what you can, no one turned away).

[Update - 10/18/21: This show has been moved from AV Club to 22/32 (ask a punk or shoot us a DM/email for the address). Dead Heat has also been added to the bill.]
