Live This Week: September 5 - 11, 2021

Not to engage in any culture war discourse (dumb, bad, etc.), but the recent HBO Max documentary on Woodstock '99 felt fairly moronic. Despite compiling some valuable footage of the infamous festival, the director essentially attempts to tie some of the blame for the multiple sexual assaults that occurred at the festival to the more aggressive bands that played (Limp Bizkit and Korn among them) while simultaneously noting that a similar kind of violence also took place at the original Woodstock. Korn has been, on and off, making compelling nu-metal and hard rock for the past two-and-a-half decades and from what I hear is still worth seeing live. They play in Bonner Springs this Monday.
Tonight, don't miss our gig with Chicago's Dendrons and locals Chloe Jacobson and Supermoto (bring a mask, info here). Other acts playing this week include Sada Baby, Laaee Uzumak!, Arquesta Del SolSoul, LK Ultra, and more. Details and ticket links below.
