Playboi Carti

Originally billed as the Narcissist tour, some of, if not all of, the branding for Playboi Carti's current run has been changed to the King Vamp tour. Whether this is purely a pivot in art direction or his camp leaning away from the backlash it's faced for its failure to protect opening act Rico Nasty from the harassment of fans is unclear. Regardless, being an occasional collaborator of Travis Scott and performing a tour in the immediate aftermath of the Astroworld tragedy, where the same type of "raging" was sold to fans, tonight's show in Independence should if nothing else be an interesting one.
