Billed as "Escape From LA Tour," three Los Angeles rock bands stopped at recordBar on Friday night. Garage rock party animals White Fang, frenzied pop-punkers No Parents, and Ghost Ramp signees The Birth Defects all contributed to the low-brow, body odor-filled evening of rock-n-roll. Kansas City powerpop quartet The Whiffs got the last minute call to open the show. The band's debut EP can't come soon enough.
