Daisy Chains |
Minneapolis band Daisy Chains ended their weeklong tour with a show in The Blind Tiger's basement on Saturday night. The Twin City trio played half an hour of toe-tapping, country-flavored psych pop and offered a welcome detour from the abrasive bands that often perform at the Tiger. Joining them on their short run was Nathan Ma & The Rosettes, the live band of Omaha singer-songwriter Nathan Ma. Many rockers may recognize Ma from fronting hardcore band
Bib. The Rosettes featured a similarly laid back feel and several songs with a pedal steel guitar. Local support for the evening included members of
Warm Bodies and
Phantom Head reprising their Urinals cover set from the previous night along with a late night set from
Chasm.
