Cameron Capers runs the music blog Beyond The Sound and hosts its new podcast Beyond The Booth. Cameron and his older brother Danzell moved to the Kansas City area from Ohio as kids and both began exploring the music scene here as teenagers. In addition to his work on Beyond The Sound, Cameron has played in a few different rock bands, managed Danzell's projects, and worked on staff at The Truman and the Midland. We discussed all of these endeavors, some of Cameron's favorite local releases this year, and some artists he thinks we should look out for next year.
