A couple big tours hit Kansas City this week, but first: go Chiefs. Second, don't miss our gig tonight with Louisville shoegaze/dream pop band Sidestep at the newly renovated Farewell with Lawrence's Guest Service (mem. Flooding) and Kansas City's Abandoncy. Those big tours in town this week include D.C. rapper Wale (who received our town's gratitude after posting about his visits to Gates Bar-B-Q and Bridger's while in town back in 2019) and legendary singer-songwriter Elton John (marking the second time he has stopped in Kansas City on his ongoing farewell tour).
