Can you believe there are four more Shuttlecock gigs this week? I can. I send emails and DMs about them all day. Tonight (Sunday), four exceptional singer-songwriters -- Reggie Pearl (STL), Frances Baker (TN), Katy Rea (NY), and Dalima Kapten (KS) -- play Farewell. On Monday, New York-via-Louisiana punks Waste Man (Feel It Records) play Farewell. This Tuesday, Houston hardcore punks Gripe make their first visit to Kansas City. And on Saturday, death metal murderers Vomit Forth (CT) and Upon Stone (CA) play a stacked bill at Howdy that includes Sarin Reaper and Final Atomic Battle. Let's see if you make it out alive.
