After hosting a farewell show for Deaton Chris Anthony in 2016, a house of college students off the Paseo decided to throw another -- this time in support of a handful of Kansas City hip-hop artists. Late on Saturday night, A'Sean and J-Tone performed several tracks from their "Take This Ride" EP that was released in December. The night also included sets from Sahvannes -- his second of the weekend -- as well as Star B, Solomon, and Justinxshon. Dozens of young partygoers packed the living room for the sets, hung out on the porch, and hopped on a newly-gifted trampoline in the front yard.
