Shuttlecock hosted its third main showcase at Mills Record Company early Friday evening. Attendees started the night by soaking in the delicate pop sounds of Dead Dads Club -- who released her first cassette at the show. A laptop DJ set from Kansas City producer Justinxshon followed -- Justin and his friends were all smiles for the entirety his short offering.
False Brother was the only traditional rock band of the evening, but the quartet's gritty post-punk sound compensated for the rest of the show's lack of electric guitars. The show was ended by
Sahvannes, an enlightened young rapper with an uncompromising flow.
We would like to thank every artist that performed, the entire staff at Mills Record Company, and everyone that came to listen for helping make this show happen.
