Shuttlecock Presents: Yambag / L.I.B. in Kansas City
Yambag |
I feel like just through pure word association, I want to refer to Yambag's brand of hardcore punk as meat and potatoes (though with a bit of crossover thrash urgency and snottiness). Such is the case with a lot of Midwestern hardcore, but the recipe, as countless gigs over the last several decades have illustrated, is timeless for a reason. See Yambag from Cleveland and Indianapolis powerviolence purveyors L.I.B. on their way back from the Convulse Records fest in Colorado this October, along with Columbia, Missouri's Rifle Cult (fingers crossed), and local new band-familiar face hardcore punks D.Y.E.
The show is October 7, 2021 at 22/32 in Kansas City, Missouri (DM or email us or ask a punk for the address). The show is all ages, doors open at 7 P.M., and music starts at 8 P.M. Do your best to bring $10 (three bands are traveling multiple hours to play), but no one will be turned away.
