Sacred Leather vocalist Dustin Boltjes (otherwise known as Wrathchild) informed Kansas City of the band's situation on Friday night. The bad news: they were out of drugs. The good news: it was time for a "motherfuckin' heavy metal party." These Indianapolis rock-n-rollers set the basement ablaze with fiery solos and as much lusty, leather-clad metal as the crowd could handle.

Preceding Sacred Leather was Inner Altar. The band has recently added Alex Tunks as a second guitarist, beefing up their sound a considerable amount. Opening the show was Unforgiven Five, hot off a recent demo release.
