Friday night in the basement of the Wings Cafe building on Broadway, a majority of Kansas City's new wave of rappers were in attendance for a long night of local hip-hop. Arranged by Gee Watts to build excitement for his upcoming project "Caviart," a slew of young artists including J-Tone, Zarin Micheal, Alex Dace, Kenny Token, Hill Mob, and more performed a few songs each.

Earlier in the evening at a dimly lit loft in the West Bottoms, Watts and company filmed a cypher featuring several of the night show's performers as well as Kye Colors, Dom Chronicles, other Kansas City area rappers. We'll keep you updated on when those videos are released!
