Crowd participation, wild costumes, and a punk rock attitude were a must on Thursday night at the Alamo Drafthouse. KC’s own Destroy Nate Allen performed alongside Drop A Grand and Japan’s Peelander-Z. All three band were present to kick off the film portion of Ink’s Middle of the Map Festival. Before their performances, a screening of Peelander-Z’s film Mad Tiger was shown. The film fest continues at Alamo until May 1st, followed by the music portion of the festival May 4th through May 7th.
