New York Portuguese-language punks La Misma played one of the fiercest sets that The Blind Tiger basement has seen yet on Monday night. Vocalist Nadine Rosario's unflinching presence and rapid-fire delivery paired perfectly with the one-two rhythms her band dished out for nearly twenty minutes. It was undoubtedly one of the best punk sets Kansas City has seen all year -- only rivaled by
C.C.T.V. and
Sheer Mag. Oakland rockers Andy Human & The Reptoids also played a solid set and Kansas City Korg punks Salty -- formerly known as Lil Toughies -- provided local support.
