Middle East hosted the toughest tour to hit Kansas City this summer. Friday night's gig featured three hardcore bands from the Northeast -- Vein, Sanction, and Buried Dreams -- together on tour following Vein's explosive performance at This Is Hardcore late last month. Each band played a different style of metallic hardcore focused on increasingly ignorant breakdowns. One attendee reportedly left via ambulance after an incident in the moshpit. Others walked out with lesser injuries.
Blindside USA provided a supporting set and announced its final show that's set for next month. Altered Beast opened the show with one fewer guitarist than usual.
