Kayla Haubenschild grew up in the Denver area and moved to Kansas City just over a year ago. She's currently studying printmaking at the Kansas City Art Institute and singing in a punk band called Nitecrawlers. We discussed the costumes she creates for her performances, her mall goth and nu-metal years in high school, and her favorite Denver hardcore bands.
