Max Chaney of Devil's Den |
The PA wasn't friendly to Solomon at Saturday night's house party, but the rapper and his friends soldiered through the feedback and still brought smiles to dozens of faces in the Kum-N-Go basement.
Solomon performed recent singles "
No More," "
Woah," and "
Shoot My Shot," along with an unreleased track called "
Serious." He also handed the mic off to NA.Westside for "
Euphoria/Know It All," Terrell for "
Bitch My Name Terrell," A'Sean for "
i" and "
Who We Are," and Walt (f.k.a. J-Tone) for an unfinished track.
Devil's Den kicked the party off with its first set ever, less than 10 minutes of ripping hardcore punk. One of the basement's pipes got cracked by an enthusiastic mosh-pitter, but that's what happens.
We want to thank everyone who performed, attended, donated to the artists, and allowed for this show to happen. Be on the look out for a sequel.
